Okay so, this may be a silly question. I am replacing my fans on my level 10 gt case. Not because I think I need better ones but because I need new ones (old ones are old and dead in some instances). Since I was getting new fans anyway I thought I would shop around.

So, here are the questions.
1. Can any 3 pin fan work with the built in controller, Low/High speed giving me normal and max speeds. Will the LED button change normal RGB fans? Will just single color fans light up? Those kinds of things.

2. How in do I replace the side fans' 'Plug and Play signal and power connector' (That's what the manual calls it). Is there a connector I can buy that just has a short cord and plug on it so I can just plug any fan into it? I really like that I can just take the door off and don't have to worry about plugging in a cable every time.

Solution
1. For fan controller, any 2-pin or 3-pin fan will do.
For LED controller, i believe that is made specifically to control Thermaltake's 200mm fans and other LED fans may not work with it at all.

2. There are fan wire extension cables out there if that's what you mean,

Though, your best bet would be getting the same fans you already have,
