Additional Comments: Would like to stay as cheap as possible with having good performance. Needs to be upgradeable for future use as well as have an adequate cooling system that will not cause any problems and quite if possible.

as well as the i5-2500k or the i7-2600k. I don't know if I would need the i7 or not, but I want to have max performance in Vindictus.

^ I dont think you would need a Full Tower case, there are a lot of Mid Tower cases which are very spacious and can even handle Dual-Card setup,...

As for the CPU, the i5 would suffice, it performs as good or better than the Intel i7 930 when it comes to gaming, so I doubt you would need the i7 2600K, also not to forget the high overclocking potential of that CPU,...

If you look at the System requirements of that game, it is pretty low, actually even the i3 2100 with say 6850 or maybe even the 6770 can max out that game @ 1080p,...

NOTES: PSU is not modular (meaning you can't take out the wires you don't need), but if you don't SLI or xfire, 850 is overkill for you. like gkay 09 said, IMO mid-tower should suffice. BTW do you need OS? because if you do, this is $100 ($30 if your a student) over budget, IMO you should use ubuntu until you can get windows

Since this is to be a gaming PC, you may not want a wireless keyboard or mouse, either of which can introduce latency and/or errors that will get you killed.
Based on GKay's observations of the requirements of Vindicus, using a HD6870 for the GPU will provide a step or two better than what you really need, so it could save you having to upgrade too quickly. A quality 500W-550W PSU would be sufficient for your build.
wenqi, he needs everything, including monitor, OS, and other peripherals.

crap, i'm about $500 over budget then... what about dropping the 570 to a 560ti/6950 and 4gb of ram, cheaper mobo? anyways, i would recommend z_4's build but with a samsung spinpoint F3 instead of a seagate, i think he can budget that in, does the OP want to SLI, cause if he does he will need at least 750w

Most likely ordering some parts from Microcenter since it's only 30 minutes away and a lot cheaper. So this will save me money on my build.
