I haven't built a computer in years, but looking to get back into it. My current computer is about 5 years old and so I was looking to build a new one. This will be a gaming computer and I'm looking to keep it around the $1300-$1400 +/- mark. I will also be buying a new gaming monitor, but that isn't included in this budget.

Here is my build:
CPU: *Intel Core i5-7600K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor ($234.43 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: *CRYORIG H5 Ultimate 76.0 CFM CPU Cooler ($63.49 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: *Gigabyte GA-Z270XP-SLI ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($139.49 @ OutletPC)
Memory: *G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($124.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($165.88 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Toshiba 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($83.88 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Black Edition Video Card ($374.00 @ Amazon)
Case: Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5 ATX Mid Tower Case ($99.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($74.89 @ OutletPC)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($18.88 @ OutletPC)
Total: $1379.92

Let me know what you think or if you have any advice or opinions. I welcome anything.

Thanks!

With your build, you'll run into RAM clearance issues. Cryorig H5 Ultimate has RAM clearance of 30mm to 35mm while your G.Skill RAM is 42mm tall. Either replace the CPU cooler with the one that has more RAM clearance (e.g Arctic Freezer i32, which doesn't hang over RAM slots) or replace the high-profile RAM with normal profile RAM (e.g Corsair Vengeance LPX, 33.5mm tall) to fit under your Cryorig H5 Ultimate.

Also, your PSU is mediocre quality (Tier three) PSU.
PSU Tier list: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html
Aim for a Tier two or Tier one unit. Anything from Seasonic will do just fine, e.g M12II-520 EVO or G-550.

Other than that, build looks good.

Refined build too:

I want to build with this setup and I think this could be a solution

Are you suggesting this build to the OP or are you asking help regarding your own build?

If you are suggesting that to the OP then do note that your build is worse in gaming than the 2 builds suggested above. Build that OP initially decided to go with and also the one i refined can do high/ultra settings @ 1440p (2K) with solid 60+ FPS. While your build can do high/ultra settings @ 1080p with solid 60+ FPS and costing more.

Here's also a comparison between my refined build (as a base) and your Ryzen build (as an alternative):

Userbenchmark PC Build Comparison

Baseline Bench: Game 98%, Desk 93%, Work 62%
CPU: Intel Core i5-7600K
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB
HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA300 3TB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 C16 2x8GB
MBD: Gigabyte GA-Z270XP-SLI

Alternative Bench: Game 67%, Desk 83%, Work 76%
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
GPU: AMD RX 480
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB
HDD: WD Blue 1TB (2012)
RAM: HyperX Fury DDR4 2400 C15 2x8GB
MBD: MSI X370 GAMING PRO CARBON (MS-7A32)

Kaby Lake build is far better in gaming and slightly better in browsing while Ryzen build is better in workstation use (e.g video rendering).

But if it's your own build you like us to refine then i'd switch out CPU cooler. AIOs are only good when you get 280mm or 360mm rad. 120mm rad is so weak that most air coolers will outperform it. And with the same price, you can go with NH-D15, the king of air coolers,
pcpp: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/4vzv6h/noctua-cpu-cooler-nhd15

Only AIO that can match the NH-D15 performance would be the king of AIOs, X61 Kraken with it's 280mm rad.

How about Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240mm? Anyways X61 won't fit to AM4 except if you add additional adapter to AM4

For AIO, you can go with x62 Kraken that is upgraded version of x61 Kraken.
specs: https://www.nzxt.com/products/kraken-x62
pcpp: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/bqBrxr/nzxt-kraken-x62-liquid-cpu-cooler-rl-krx62-01

As far as the AM4 bracket goes, here's how you can get it from NZXT,
link: https://www.nzxt.com/am4-bracket

Since i have AER140 RGB & HUE+ kit, i contacted NZXT customer support to get a connector cable for the HUE+ Extension Kit. NZXT was professional and they shipped my connector cable from the States to the Europe (where i live) within a month.

About Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240mm. It's also included in the article i linked above and out of 5 high-end AIOs, it's performing the worst under 100% CPU load, while being almost as noisy as x61 Kraken. You can go for it if you like but don't expect much out of it.

Oh, I would go on NZXT then! But where would I get the AM4 bracket since I am in Indonesia and will they send it to me? I am sure they will, and thanks for your help choosing what Cooler!

There's also full explanation with steps to take to submit the ticket. Oh, for proof, you need to present NZXT an invoice that shows the purchase of NZXT AIO.
I had to present invoice about my AER140 RGB & HUE+ kit when i submitted my ticket about the connector cable for the HUE+ Extension Kit.

Thank you for the solution again! Anyways can I add you on Hangouts? I really need help on my build (cooler, CPU, etc)?

You're welcome. :)

You mean Google Hangouts? I have never used it since i don't need it.
