So, I've been wanting to play Minecraft and BF4 with little to no lag, and I wish to know which of these builds will be better for RECORDING Minecraft. I will probably not be recording BF4, but I just want to be able to at least run it with medium/high settings. I am aware of nvidia's ShadowPlay which records with little to no fps drop, and i want to know which is best for the things I am doing.

TL;DR I want to record Minecraft, tell me the better and more future proof build.

And yes, I really like this case I want to keep it...
Thanks!

Thing is, I don't want to mess around with the overclocking thing, and a g3258 + decent aftermarket cooler (Hyper 212 EVO) = 100 dollars instead of my 80. Keep in mind that I want to play BF4, and that is optimized for more than 2 cores.

That is true but even then the stronger cores will help (its not like using more cores will make less use of strong ones), and overclocking is very easy, asus even has a thing that does it automatically. The pentium performs better than the amd ones, and you can OC it with a stock cooler too.

If you're not overclocking, stick with the stock cooler. Why the mATX motherboards when you're getting a mid tower case?

AMD does have its own recording solution (Raptr?), but I'm not familiar with it. I'm big fan of Shadowplay because I own a NVIDIA card.

Thumbs up on the Devastator pack 😀

I'll tweak your build. I'm guessing a $600 budget?

EDIT: I actually won't. I'm not familiar enough with that price range on products.
