Last two mice I bought, Madcatz R.A.T. and Logitech G600, were trash not long out of the box.

I can't remember what went wrong with the former, but the latter had a design flaw which cause the click sensor to fail.

Never buying from either of these companies again.

Anyone have suggestions? I would prefer to have an MMO style mouse.

I would recommend any of the Steel Series mouses, i have terrible experience with Razer however SteelSeries make excellent quality mouses.

Also Corsair gaming mouses M series are great.

I have a Logitech G500 that I love and have bought a few of. They've lasted a few years each with the first lasting about 5 years before the USB connection seemed to flake out. Razer is a popular choice with MMOs for the number of button on the side, such as the Razer Naga. My younger brother lives by them and after living in Singapore a year, and finding his mouse broke in the trip back home, left right away to get a new one (HAD to have it for his computer).

Once you go Razer, you never go back.

They last forever, I owned 2 Razer mice over the course of about 8 years. And I don't play those pussy games like CS;GO or whatever. No I play StarCraft and Dota 2 aka the great mouse destroyers because of the insane amount of clicking.

I don't have anything against the Razer brand, however i've had experience with Razer mouses and my friend's too have experienced Razer mouse having longevity problems including doubleclicking when only clicking once, etc.

Razer mice are alright, although i've had the left click go squishy on two. Now I use a Logitech G502 and love it. Maybe consider the Roccat Kone XTD too, I've tried that and liked it.
