Hey all long time reader first time to actually post. I had a fire recently and lost my PC 🙁

But the insurance are paying up!!!

So need a new gaming rig! I am also getting a sony 4k TV and want to have something to show on it.

The rest of the time i will be gaming in 1080p. But i really want it to cope in 4k and play 4k content when we get some ha ha

Attached is my build at the moment. My budget is about £1200

No point of getting a H55 cpu cooler. If you want to go water cooling, go either custom or a H100i or an air cooler.
No need for a R9 290X for 1080p gaming. 290 would be fine. Personally, I would wait until 4K games actually comes before and when a single gpu can actually handle 4K gaming. No point future proofing 4K.
Get a better power supply. Corsair CX and CS series are medicore. I would avoid them. Get brands like Antec, Coolermaster V series, Corsair(AX series), EVGA SuperNova G2, Seasonic or XFX
