So earlier I was sitting on my chair, wondering how much I should drop on a new gaming PC. I don't really have a budget but don't want to spend stupid amounts of money (E.G $10k). I will be playing competitive shooters like CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch and some others. I play minecraft with heaps of mods so 32GB of RAM would be ideal. Other than that I would love a 240hz, 1080p, 1ms monitor to make sure I am getting every edge possible. I only need a PC and monitor in the list.
Thanks in advance!

Something Z390/9900K-based, with a 2080 Ti...32 GB - 3200 MHz RAM kit (2 x 16 GB) I'd look for a 1 TB NVME SSD...Samsung 970 EVO Plus is the current 'go to' for many...

Are you building this yourself? (Gather about $2k) Or looking for a pre-built?

Going with a pre-built at the high often often likely blows several hundreds of dollars on goofy cases and/or RGB bling, with Dell/Alienware coming to mind as a fast way to blow thru an extra $1000-1500 unnecessarily (sometimes much more, as I'm sure they undoubtedly have a few Threadripper-based gaming systems with ludicrous amounts of RAM, etc ) compared to what one could do themselves on Amazon, and, with full choice over one's components...
