Recently I built a pc capable of running overwatch at 70 fps ultra settings. It runs it at 60 on low, I have no idea why. I had issues with drivers I downloaded them from like 4 different apps and sites and its all a big fuckin mess but my pc says they are up to date. What should I do ?

CPU: Pentium g4560
GPU: Sapphire rx460
RAM: 8gb HyperX
Motherboard: Gigabyte b250-2dv
OS: windows 10 64 bit

there is an astronomical difference between 70 fps ultra and 40-60 low settings it shouldn't be that low. Also I don't know what DDU is please tell me more and the drivers I got from driverpack solutions and a number of other sites as I got confused

Never go anywehre excpet to the source. So first you need to download and use DDU. It will remove all display drivers and anything left behind. This will ensure there is no conflict. http://www.guru3d.com/files-tags/download-ddu.html

Second, go directly to amd.com to get the latest drivers. I assume you have Windows 10. https://www2.ati.com/drivers/beta/non-whql-win10-64bit-radeon-software-crimson-relive-17.6.2-june13.exe

That will be your latest drivers install there. Run it and reboot. Then you should notice a difference. Also, what is your CPU/GPU usage? What are your temps? Have you tried Ultra settings? Where did you get Overwatch from?

You may want to install MSI Afterburner and use the on screen display.

I got overwatch from blizzard, my temps are at 40-60 degrees. What about motherboard and cpu drivers ?

cpu temp is at 80 degrees and usage is around 60 to 80 and gpu temp is at 122 and usage jumps around a lot from 0 straight to 100 idk if that's weird or not. These stats are in game stats.

computer just restarted after using ddu now what exactly should I do ? I don't want to fuck it up again

wont allow me to download via link, it says auto detect and download drivers should I go for it ?

could it be lack of other drivers not gpu drivers

Other drivers would not play a role in this. I mean it's good to keep it up, but there' really not a need of other drivers. What drivers are you missing that you know of? Try to stay away from drivers scanners..

When you put this PC together, did you use the disc that came with the motherboard? Or at least get the drivers from the motherboard's website ?

FIXED.....v sync fucked up the fps I turned it off BUT now 3 dots show up next to my fps counter, it means the render thread limiting frame rate but I have no idea what to do about it, thanks for all your help btw

no. they are part of the fps counter
