Hello all

I am looking for a new pc, budget is between 800 to a 1000 (lower the better)

the game I will play on will be mostly Total war games, HOI4, Planet zoo and simulation games.

I do not need more than a 1660ti graphics card ( I think) (would like windows 10 included as well within the price)

Cube Gauntlet

Cube Sparrow

these are what I have found so far

any tips or help or other suggestions would be appreciated

Cheers

just pricing up a build your own on system builder, the price difference isn't massive for a similarish build

also should I have posted this in the systems section? cheers

if you go for something like this:
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/WnNBfH

this is cheaper than all of the ones you listed but is much better

easily beats the 3400G and the i5 8400

it does mean that you will have to do a bios update but i think this mobo support doing it without a cpu and booting to the bios but just checkup (its called bios flashback)

i think at this point you only really looking at cpu's since a 1660 ti is enough for you
but maybe another option is to get a weaker and cheaper cpu (like a 2600)and get a 2060 or radeon rx 5700

thats the sort of flexibilty you will have if you build it yourself
or you could save a bit of it and buy a 32" 1440p 144hz monitor(only £240) Theyre amazing even if your only rocking a ryzen 1300x and a rx580 like me

Also you would rather go for the 2600 over the 2600x and the same with the 3600 over the 3600x
for the price difference there is no point since you can overclock it to that level anyway
