New Gaming Rig

I recently was looking to build a new rig and have my first swing at things. Budget is like 1100, and I was wondering if anyone had tips, or noticed any of the following parts presenting compatibility issues.
Mobo and CPU (Combo):

Not sure what to get as far as power supply goes. Budget is 1100 as aforementioned, this is currently at about 930 bucks.
Anything seem off here, as far as compatibility goes? Anything missing? Can/should I shave about 80 bucks by getting 8 GB of Ram instead of 16, or is 16 preferable? Also, can anyone recommend a power supply that would fit these parts? Thanks.

For what you have I'd go something like the SeaSonic 520

Might also reconsider the mobo, maybe the Asus Z87-A or better yet the Z97-A (the Z97 gives you an upgrade path to the Devils Canyon and Broadwell CPUs), I myself won't build on MSI due to their poor QC

Is 520W enough? Also, in regards to the mobo and cpu I found a combo for like 80 more but looks better:

I don't mind an msi board, so do you think the extra 80 or whatever is worth laying down for a slightly stronger i7 and mobo

The 520 is plenty for your combo, on the mobo, it's going to be your choice, but in the price range I'd go the Z97-A or the Z97-Pro from Asus, they had the best Z87s and are continuing with the Z97 series, I picked up the 97 Hero, and have built 2 Z97-As and a Z97-Ws already, have a Pro and a ST build lined up for clients this week

You know what, this is a great idea. It seems to me that a lot of people have a actually had problems with MSI's Z97 board. Not gonna bother with that, Asus Z97 Pro seems better from the reviews as well as their reputation. Seems that Newegg has the same combo that they had with the i7 and the msi, but with the i7 and the Asus instead. Thanks a ton, I think I have stuff lined up now.
