Changed a few things...made it a bit cheaper, plan to take a few peripherals on the side. BTW, a 1000W power supply is so expensive
that I can't even begin to justify purchasing one right now. I think the graphics card will hold for the life of the machine, and if not, oh well I'll just get a bigger power supply. For now, it'll do. This good to go now?

BTW since for some damn reason I can't edit my own threads will the CPU bottleneck this card? :S I've heard you would need to seriously OC it for it to not bottleneck it. Whats the take?
Thanks

No way. People saying the Q6600 is a bottleneck play FSX, or they use the CPU for more than gaming, or they are clueless, or they overclock for sport. You don't have to overclock the Q6600 if you don't feel like it.

I'd upgrade the PSU to 750W. That's especially useful if you're planning to add lots of peripherals. The Corsair 650W should be able to handle a 4870X2, but it may be overloaded if you add an overclocked quad and lots of other stuff. If you need to make cuts, cut from the motherboard. Plenty of fat there. A GA-EP45-DS3R is $100 less in the USA for example. It has only one PCI-E slot, but chances are you'll never need a second one anyway. Or the P5Q Pro - that one even has a second slot, just in case.
