Hi guys, recently bought Gigabyte Z790 AERO G mobo with integrated I225-V (3) controller, and since then, i have random disconnects on daily basis. Sometimes need to disable/enable adapter to get it working again, sometimes physical reconnect, and even need to reboot PC.
Saw in past people had problems with very same controller, on Z490 boards, but can't find anywhere firmware update tool and never firmware for this particular ethernet card.

Here is link to Intel workaround:

It's not the cable, using cat7.
No problems with "old" Asus Z690 board using same cable and router. However, changed cable, same thing.

That is irrelevant. Any cable an be bad. A "cat 7" label is probably meaningless. Get a new, factory made, 100% copper, round, 22-24GA cat5e or cat6a cable. I like the 5e monoprice cables -- https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Flexboot-Cat5e-Ethernet-Patch/dp/B00KWS7GAC?th=1

I meant, tried other cable. No luck.
Saw many people have problems with random disconnect with I225-V
Even Intel declared it have bugs.

However, tried to downgrade NIC FW, but no luck as I have newer
