Question New GPU does not work.

Hi,

I just installed my rtx 5070 but windows won't detect it. The integrated graphics of my cpu is working.

The lights on the gpu lightup and the fans spin.

The Device Manager is a good spot to try to diagnose the problem with your GPU. If you can’t find your GPU under the Display Adapters, chances are that it’s a driver issue. In such cases, it can sometimes show up when you turn on Show Hidden Devices from the View menu of the Device Manager.

I turned on Show Hidden Devices and it shows my previous GPU

Makle sure old drivers were completely uninstalled , by way of DDU

Make sure in the BIOS it is set to detect the new GPU
Make sure card is inserted properly
Make sure cables are inserted all the way
Check that you now have your monitor cable inserted into your 5070
