New GPU doesn't let the system POST

Hello everyone,
I really need your help here. I bought a new GPU and as you can see in the thread's name, now I can't POST into BIOS.
The GPU works fine on a different computer.

My motherboard:

I have read many posts in these forums but none is like my case.

1) My PSU is 600 watts so that not the problem.
2) MY computer doesn't post so drivers is not the problem(tried reseting).
3) Putting my old GPU in works fine.
4) The computer posts without the new GPU but doesn't boot windows because there is no on-board GPU.
5) I don't think I have done something wrong with the cables.
6) WTF?

It is MOST LIKELY because the PCI-E specification on that board is too old. AMD PCI-E 3.0 cards are backwards compatible ONLY TO PCI-E 2.0, NOT EARLIER.

Your board is from an era where there was still AGP, in fact, your board has both AGP and PCi-E (which is rare, rare, rare). This means your board has a PCI-E revision stuck in the 1.0-1.1 range (as per VIA and PCI-SIG pages, see http://www.pcisig.com/developers/compliance_program/integrators_list/pcie/).

Cheers! You might as well upgrade if you have a Core 2 only, if you can sort out some money for it, that is. I would strongly recommend this path.

Yes I will because even if I didn't want to change the cpu the socket is really stone age so new motherboards won't support it.
Whats your suggestion for motherboard + cpu around 100 Euros?

Well, I'm not familiar with the Euro pricing scheme. For only 100 Euros, I would say you will have better luck with AMD and the FX (piledriver) based CPUs. Perhaps a FX4300 or FX6300, and an AMD 970 chipset motherboard. Is the Gigabyte GA-970A-D3, Rev. 3 (NOT the DS3) available for cheap ? It is a decent board for single GPU configs.

For 100 euros, try your luck with AMD, but I suggest you to save up more money
