Hey everyone, I've got this older pc I've been using as a project/gift and I've had an issue with it. It used to have an i3 4160 and a gtx 760. I upgraded it to an i5 4590 and gtx 1060. The motherboard is the MSI H81M-P33. When I first put them in, they booted fine. Now, after finishing up, it doesn't boot anymore. The mouse and keyboard dont light up for almost 30 seconds and when they do, the pc just boots to a black screen. No blinking underscore, nothing. I've tried reseating ram, reseating gpu, resetting cmos, nothing. However, when I swap out the 1060 for the old 760, it boots fine, although it does randomly restart on occasion? I thought maybe this was a bios issue, but i cant seem to get my bios to recognize the bios update on any usb drive, although it does see the usb itself. I dont think it's a power issue because it's a 500w psu. I know the 1060 works because I tried it in my personal computer and it works. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
