New GPU Time and I Need Your Assistance

I'll try to give you what I can.

I have a GTX 660 right now with an Intel i7-4770. I believe I have a 600w power supply and an ASUSTek H81M-PLUS. Honestly, I have no idea about the motherboard.

But I want to do an upgrade sometime soon. My question is, do I go for a GTX 980 or a 1070? I can't seem to find much on prices for either accurately and I'm just trying to get a comparison. I'd like to save as much money as possible in this situation if I can.

Games I mostly play are Arma 3, Payday 2, Rainbow Six Siege and World Of Warships. Not much help I know, but I just bought a copy of DOOM and I wanna play some newer games too.

I'd appreciate the help you guys could give me cause I'm at a loss here. Thank you!

Hi Bushman, check the prices, if your budget allows a Geforce 1070, you can't go wrong with that.

It seems like about $579 is the price at which I can get it right now. No matter which one I go with, it'll take a while before I can get the funds. One of my friends even suggested waiting for the 1100 series to come out and see what happens to prices after that. Thoughts?

I have that GIGABYTE 1070 it's a great card , I also own an ASUS Strix which is slightly better.
