For Christmas this year I am thinking about buying a steam link to play video games in my living room. I was going to buy the xbox one but decided it was too expensive. I already have a gaming pc with many steam games including my favourite, Fallout 4.
My pcs specs are Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.3GHz/ 8gb of RAM/ NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti I dont know the rest kinda a noob. Fallout 4 runs on the lowest settings with some crashes here and there.
My living room t.v. is on the first floor while my PC is on the second so im guessing im going to have to use wifi to connect it with steam link? Is a 65" t.v. too big to play steam link games? Is it a good idea now to upgrade my graphics card to play fallout 4? Which is the best for under 200 dollars?
Also I want to play multiplayer first person shooters on it. I want to know how much lag there will be and if I will be completely useless using the steam controller. I do not care about kill/death ratios or being that competitive I just want to be able to get some kills and help out my team
