So I recently upgraded my gpu from a gt 1030 to a gtx 1050ti but I saw that my fps in the games I used to play was terrible. My full setup is a i7 3770, 16 gb of ram, gtx 1050 ti, and a 500w power supply. The thing is is that I'm very confused because I did research before I bought the card, I watched videos with people testing the same components and their fps was fine. I googled to see if the i7 3770 was a bottle neck for the gtx 1050ti but they said it was a good pair. Plus I watched videos where people tested the i7 3770 in the games I play with gtx 1660's and stuff and their fps was fine. Please if anyone can help me figure this out it would be greatly appreciated. Btw if you want to know what model gtx 1050 ti I have I have the msi gaming x vesion.

what the cpu/gpu temp and usage during the game?
So I just tested it in cs2| cpu usagel 30%/40% gpu usage 30% 35% | the gpu temp is around 50 celcuis/ 122 Fahrenheit. Weird thing is saw while playing was that I get higher/ smoother fps on higher resolutions, I usually play 4:3 1280 by 960 but the fps dips crazy and does not go above 35 but when I play on 1920 by 1080 I get 40 sometimes 60 fps. (In the videos I watch they get about 100/120 fps on 1080p on the same hardware)

Did you by chance uninstall the GT 1030 drivers and put fresh one in for the GTX 1050ti. Yeah there most likely same driver but it matters so the driver does not have hiccups going from GPU to GPU.
No I did not I basically removed the old gpu put the new one in and updated my nvidea drivers. Can tell me how to uninstall my old drivers and put the new one on for the gtx 1050ti?
