Hiya, I'm looking to get a new graphics card. The only newish games I'm likely to play are Civilization and CSGO.

I only play CSGO at 1280x1024 with the lowest graphics settings and will never go above this. I play civ at native resolution (1920x1080).

I can't remember exactly what my psu spec is but I know it's at least 650w modular (bequiet brand).

Other components:
2x 4gb Kingston hyperX
ASUS p8p67 pro Rev 3.1
i5-2500k 3.3 ghz

Ideally I'd like to spend no more than £100, the cheaper the better! Also I'm in the UK and would prefer to use overclockers (or eBuyer). cheers

That card will do untill you save enough money for a stronger GPU.The 2500K could handle a GTX 970,which is by far the best card you can get for the money.
Getting a GTX 750 Ti/R7 260X will practically be a waste of money, because all three cards give about the same performance.
What card are you currently using? Your BeQuiet PSU is probably fine for almost any single card up to say an R9 290x or GTX 780TI so it's certainly fine for what you might need. R9 270 or GTX 760 would give you a little more horsepower in case you DO decide to play something a bit more demanding.

Yeah I was looking at that card, but wasn't sure what amd cards were like nowadays. Haven't used one since I had an ati Radeon 9700 years ago haha. I'm guessing the drivers/software is totally stable?

There is no card, or software, that is "totally stable", when you factor in other considerations. To the extent that it can be, the latest NVidia and AMD drivers for the GTX and R7 or R9 series cards, are pretty stable so long as you don't install them in an extremely old system with limited BIOS support.

Pretty much,yeah. :)

Easy Luka, easy. Spank the rookie, don't kill him.

OP. Here are two further choices that suit your criteria as well if you want to be right at the edges of it so to speak.

Is there much of a difference between the R7 260x and the 750 Ti? Other than the marginal price difference. I currently use a GTX 560 Ti but I'm pretty sure it's on its last legs

Been trying to figure out how that card could cover a wide area or scope and finally realized you meant "expensive", not "expansive". Heh.
