Hello ! My name is Renato
I just recently purchased this computer http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014QVM2KO/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza with the I5 version

My simple question is, would i be able to run this card on it ? http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-750-ti

here is the currernt power supply of the computer http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-HBA008-ZA1GT-350-Power-Supply/dp/B01429U3XI

if so, is it a matter of just plug in and play or do i have to take anything out before i can install it ?
I know i have to unistall the current graphics software to innstall a new one but since this is an integrated graphics card, would i still have to unistall the software ?

Please any more advices will be apreciated if you need more info please let me know !!!! ..... i also was considering the gtx 730 but im not sure if it will be able to run starcraft 2 in high mode ?

Solution
^ its a bus powered 60w Max card , the CPU is a 65w max tdp CPU.
Factor in at the most 60ww (& I'm overestimating this wildly) for the rest of the system & the total 12v draw if EVERYTHING in your system was running at 100% capacity would still not touch 200w.

So yes you can plug it in & go mate.
Size wise it should fit as it is a pretty small card, and as long as there is a PCIE 3.0 input on your motherboard you should be fine.

If you want to make sure it will definately fit then check the dimensions on the 750Ti and the dimensions of your case and see if it will fit.
Compatability shouldn'y be an issue though.

Hope this helps
Jaba

What do you mean by PCIE 3.0 ? what is that ?
Thanks for the help !

Ok, so I just plugged all the data into eXtreme PSU calculator. I would have used powersupplycalculator.net, but Skylake CPUs are not listed there yet. The recommended PSU wattage is 250, as the system consumes a bit more than 200 watts under load, so you should actually be fine.

thanks for the help !!! what you are saying is that i dont need a new power supply ? i would just need to install it ?

Yup! As long as your case has the space, it should be perfectly fine! (And it also probably does, because it's not a very large card.)

I would recommend this card: http://bit.ly/1PZ763y

Thnaks for the help mate !! im in U.S for now.... about PSU you are saying that is not great but its enough, meaning that i should be able to run the gtx 750ti without any issues with the stock PSU ?
Sorry for asking too much but im a collage student and i cant afford mistakes with my PC....

It actually takes about 200 watts to run this card, not the 125 that he suggested, but the system should run fine with the stock PSU. I wouldn't recommend overclocking, though.

Thanks for your help !!!!!you have no idea how much you guys are helping me !! im doing so much stuff day to day and sometimes i just want to relax and play games or just play on my free time and now that i have this computer i want to be able to at least run the games properly ....( im NO pro gamer by the way haha....)

when you say overclocking you mean fully unlock the graphics card as if i was jaibreaking a phone ? or overlocking is an options when buying the card ?
Once again thanks !

Even though you may be right, I trust calculations more than estimations. Besides, it's good to exercise caution.

Great !!! thanks a lot !!! you sure do know a lot more than me haha.... i will for sure be doing this in the next couple of weeks after i pay for college and some other bills ^_^ like usual...

Honestly (not trying to throw flowers at anyone) im so glad i found this forum ....you all are great people !!

you are absolutely right ...calculations never fail...but if you are pretty much an expert on the matter im sure that you could make a reasonable guesstimate ...or a mature estimate on the field. Anyway thanks for your help ! i will be for sure be making a follow up thread with pics and everything ^_^

i think i have a problem....my pcie is 2.0 at least thats what i think ... check this out ! http://www.tomshardware.com/news/intel-100-series-chipsets,29993.html

my motherboard is the h110

now o dont know if the pcie will be compatible with the card ... check this http://www.tomshardware.com/news/intel-100-series-chipsets,29993.html
and this http://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/2099-intel-chipset-comparison-z170-h170-h110

one says that i doesnt have a 2.0 port but it supports a 3.0 ( ?????) and the other says pretty much the same
