I have recently purchased an AMD Radeon R9 270, but my monitor says "no input" no matter what I try with it. The current card is a AMD Radeon HD 5450 that works perfectly fine. Also, when I shut the pc back down after seeing that the monitor still won't get signal, it shuts down almost immediately where as it normally takes a few seconds when shutting down during it's boot up.
These are the specs of my pc in case it matters:
Processor - AMD Phenom 8400 Triple-Core Processor 2.10GHz
Motherboard - ECS GeForce 8000 series
PSU - EVGA 600w (also made sure it has more than enough on the +12V rail than the AMD Radeon R9 270 requires)
Things I have found online or thought of that I have tried:
-Used DDU to uninstall old card's driver(new card still no input, old card works and re-installs it's driver automatically after windows boots up)
-Disabled old card's driver and started pc with new card installed
-Made sure PSU is connected to new card
-Made sure card is firmly in PCI-E slot
-Checked BIOS settings(there was no options other than booting in different modes)
Any ideas on what the issue is?
