Hi all,

I had a computer built up for me in 2012, which is running a GTX560 Ti, and it's come to that time where I think that I need to retire the overworked card and upgrade. What I am looking at upgrading to is a GTX 1060 6Gb, it's at the limit of what I'm willing to spend at the moment, and then replace the motherboard & processor etc in the future at some point.

From what I have been reading, the new card is compatible with my current setup and I'm just looking for advice from those that know a lot more than I do about this stuff.

My current setup:

Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V Pro Z77
Processor: Intel Core i5 3570K overclocked to 4.5GHz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB overclocked edition

Thanks in advance, I appreciate it.

(Mods, Apologies for double posting, didn't realise that the first submission went through)

So okay the card is compatible with you motherboard and it's currently the best in the price range.
There should be no problems but if you will buy it at least have a 500w power supply.
