I recommend that you D/L, install and run Seagates disk diagnostic tool, "Seatools for Windows".
Step one: go to this page and D/L Seatools for Windows: http://www.seagate.com/support/downloads/seatools/
Step 2: Run Seatools for Windows and select your Seagate HDD in the menu. This should light up the green check mark next to "Basic Tests".
Step 3: Click on Basic Tests and run the following:
a) SMART Check
b) Short Drive Self Test
c) Short Generic Test
d) Long Generic Test

If the drive passes all of the tests, then you have nothing to worry about and you just have sensitive hearing LOL!

Good Luck!
