New HDD very slow at first boot of the day.

Hello there, i recently just bought myself a new HDD, Toshiba DT01ACA100 but i really doubt that this is the problem.
So basically what is happening:
I go to my computer and start it up, some things feel very slow so i decide to take a look at hd tune in order to find out the transfer speeds and stuff and i see this:https://gyazo.com/a996251633e3fb2295a26010d663e96d
(Also everything under health status is "ok")
And this is extremely slow, at least i think so.

So, i decided to restart my computer and this is what i get now: https://gyazo.com/948725472a4fbfd429cc47c66b5b235d
Which is so much faster.
And if i turn off my computer and open it the next day, then i have to boot up my computer and restart it again in order for it to be fixed.

Also my SSD speed is always great, even after first boot:

Hopefully someone knows the fix for it.
And i feel like the HDD could be a little faster, because for example loading screens for some games are very long, i have the longest loading time compared with my friends, even though they have the same rpm drives.

I'd definitely not advise you to install third-party drivers from unknown sources, it's always best to follow the instructions in the motherboard manual when doing this and refer to the manufacturer's knowledge base for questions, @Dzeikob!
I'd recommend you unplug the HDD from the system and boot with just the SSD. This way if the boot-up process is flawless on the first time, then it's most probably the HDD that is causing the issues. You mentioned that it's a new hard drive, but according to the SMART attributes from the benchmark/diagnostic tool, it looks like it has been powered on for quite some time.
I believe it is the source of your issues and I'd advise you to replace it. Since it's a new HDD, you should be able to RMA it...
Welcome to the TH Community, @Dzeikob!

I'd recommend you try fixing this by swapping the SATA cable and also the port where the HDD is connected to the motherboard. This could be caused by a faulty connection, so make sure you have mounted everything properly inside your PC. If that doesn't help with the HDD's performance, I'd suggest you check if you have the latest SATA controller & Chipset drivers for your motherboard and make sure you manually update them from the official mobo website. While on it, you might as well check the BIOS version and see if you have the latest one installed.

Hopefully, that would improve the performance. Keep me posted.

I actually have tried changing the SATA cable and port, but its really hard for me too see if it fixes anything since i have no idea how to check it because it usually only happens at the first boot of the day, so i will probably have to check in tomorrow again.

This seems odd, indeed. If you have access to another computer, you should probably try this HDD in there as well and see how the other system will react to it. This will help us determine whether or not the hard drive is the source of the issue. I'd also recommend you check the power plan settings on your PC and make sure you have it configured in High performance to see if the HDD would be more responsive then.

If you haven't this already, you might also want to try testing the health and SMART status of the HDD and also defragging it.

Keep me posted & Good luck!

Run a simple read benchmark from the benchmark tab and post the results. The read/write performance of the HDD decreases as you move towards the end of the HDD space. Maybe the test you ran was for the last partition, so running a read test will show you your exact HDD performance.

Hello again, @Dzeikob!

The screenshot you have taken shows what the SSD transfer rate speed is. It doesn't seem to be very fast, though. Do you have it connected to a SATA III (6 Gb/s) port on the motherboard? I'd also suggest you check your BIOS settings and make sure the SSD is running in AHCI SATA mode.
It would also be helpful if you share a screenshot of the HDD's benchmark and health tab.

Keep us posted.

Uhh, i didn't realize as of now that this was SSD's test, This is the HDD's one now: https://gyazo.com/82b513e31b02c27699fbed47fdc531d0
This took way longer to complete..

And i also upgraded my bios to the latest drivers which didn't seem to do anything and right now i am not sure where i should get drivers for my controller: https://gyazo.com/857ac3a9075499afa1eb75f73f3aca17

Also, thank you for being so fast to answer my questions, appreciated :)

You HDD is showing extremely poor performance, also the max speed should be around 200MB/s and the min should not go beyond 50-60 MB/s.
Try these:
1. Update your controller drivers. Go to Intel's website to download the latest one.
2. Defrag your HDD

If these doesn't help then you should get a replacement.

Don't worry, that's why we are here! :)
However, please make sure you backup all important data somewhere else before proceeding with the troubleshooting of the hard drive. If the test on the HDD took longer this time, I'd recommend posting a screenshot from the health tab as well. Afterwards, attempt to swap the SATA cable and port on the mobo with the HDD and then run the benchmark/diagnostic health tests on the drive again.
Either way, it would be really great if you find another PC to plug the HDD there as well. This will help us determine where is the source of the issue. If the problem is still present on multiple systems and through various connections (different SATA cables/ports), I'd strongly recommend you to consider replacing it.

You should be able to RMA it and get a replacement either from the reseller's or the manufacturer's customer support.

Let us know how the troubleshooting is going, though.

Alright, so i changed the port and sata wire but still nothing, benchmark is still exactly the same..
I don't have another computer to plug it in though, but however i did connect my old hdd and the results were more horrible, possibly because i think this old one is dying. I forgot to do the regular benchmark for this but i think the file benchmark says a lot: https://gyazo.com/0704efbd6f94cd8cdde9b38b5c9d2a8d..

The health status at my current hdd is this: https://gyazo.com/b752cc05d337bb3792308315d6e2ff3f

Also, is there a possibility that it might be a windows 10 issue? Because my friend built a new pc, installed windows 10 and his just bought hdd booted up his pc in like 10 minutes.

I defragged my HDD and it didn't seem to work but i still have a problem with updating my controller drivers, i am not sure which on to download or maybe i am just looking at a wrong place, i copy pasted my controller driver name which i looked from device manager to google and i got some files but i have no idea how to install it. https://gyazo.com/2e82f99aa85278226dbfbf429449ec9c

I also agree with @SuperSoph that you shouldn't install third party drivers. You have a faulty HDD, so the best option should be to get a replacement. It's showing false values for spin up time and temp. Here's a screenshot of my HDD https://postimg.org/image/d7gkkuoid/ , your new drive's data should be similar to this.
