[SOLVED] new headset/mic sounds awful when mic mode is engaged.

When im listening to music on the headset it sounds brilliant full stereo, high bitrate, full bass etc....

The moment the mic is enabled/in use... all the music i had been listening to turns to some sort of mono mode... its all tinny and bass is gone etc... sounds like its very low bitrate.

This is most apparent when i have spotify open on its own... its sound amazing, then i boot up a game and the mic is enable in game automatically the whole sound changes at that exact points.

Stereo width disappears and the above happens... how do i resolve this ?

If your headset is connected over Bluetooth, this is expected - "Headset" profile (with mic enabled) is meant for voice communication over phone.
