This machine definitely would make your wallets thinner, especially after factoring what Apple charges for it's own RAM! You'd be much better off buying memory from Crucial or Kingston! I like the new design though, however I'm hanging on to my 2011 21.5inch Intel Core i5 machine for now. Its still fast enough for for now
