i have a dualboot system with new linux mint on an older Kingston SSD plus 6 month old install of elementry os on new 500 Gb NVME drive 860 or maybe 960

just surfing not moving or bumping the tower , i lost connectivity about 30 min ago.
apparently i dont have working wired ethernet or i cant verify it works cuz this laptop doesnt have ethernet

- i checked both mint and elementry dont even see a wireless network.
its like the wireless built in to the MSI MAG B650 wifi motherboard just died

how do i fix or test for this?
-this laptop works on very same wireless that now doesnt work on newer desktop in same room

and now magically after 2 reboots nothing
-so then i disconnect everything, tried inspecting area behind connections on back of mobo but theres giant heatsink blocking everything, even after remmoving video card
-hit power and reset buttons with no powercord
rehooked everything and not it automatically sees wireless again?

did you test your wifi on another device from the same place on your house, wifi is amazingly annoying sometimes, you can get patchy signals, interference and all kinds of issues, ideally you would want to get wired internet to work, it's more reliable
