New install &getting errors like minidumpmini121904=02 dump

just installed and get the foll errors
1/ c:\windows\minidump\mini121904=-2 dmp
2/c😀ocuments~1\.......\temp1.tmp\iroo\sysdata.xml
(other info like event id=1003, cat = 102)

can someone shade some light as why this should happen to new installation,
(apart from adding in modem driver, new ram). thank you.

Can you boot into safe mode (tap f8 key during boot)

When you say you just installed---from a clean harddrive (partitioned and
formatted for the first time?)
