new laptop came with French language, can't change to english

I changed location to estats unis but clock change is less intuitive. I cannot get wi fi because something doesn't match and I don't understand French

Buy an English edition of Windows XP from Amazon and install that. Then download drivers from laptop maker's website.

I have solved my problem of the French OS. Since it is Win 7 Professional, there is no way to change the language.
I am returning it for a refund.
