Question New Laptop can't connect to online gaming ?

Asus F15 Dash

On 5ghz wifi I can web browse. When I start a game it shows that I'm off line. A few different games. I turned off windows firewalls, I don't have anti virus running. I port forward for Fallout 76, didn't help. When I plugged in my ethernet cable it says I have no network adapter. I'm trying to find where to get it, nothing on the Asus download page.

On your laptop ensure that only one network adapter, either wired or wireless as desired, is enabled. Not both network adapters at the same time.

Make and model router? The router's logs if available and enabled may provide some clue.

Who has full admin rights to the router's administrative functions? You will need help from that person.

Run "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt. Post the results.
