I very recently got a acer nitro 5 laptop and when I try to connect it to my home wifi router (TP-link TLWR-840N) my router switches off and kicks everyone else off the wifi network as well. What could be causing this? Any solution?

Other laptops are connecting normally and my laptop is connecting normally to my mobile hotspot, so neither of those are defective

Solution
Couldn't even begin to guess. There is no direct electrical connection between the laptop and wifi router. It's just a standard communications protocol implemented by both sides that connects them.

Did you try using an ethernet cable instead?
