Question new laptop selection

Starting to shop for a new laptop that will have a GPU for the AI era. I like Dell. Apple is also a probable. Any suggestions? I am at a home office for writing, Excel, etc.

It would, wouldn't it...I haven't gotten that far but maybe $2500 tops.

Are you going to have to buy this thing sight unseen?

Or are you in a position where you can inspect 3 or 4 candidates in person to evaluate them using your own eyes and hands? Major advantage if you can do this.

Generally...I'd try to buy something from the business/corporate lines rather than home/consumer.

Any peculiar or uncommon requirements? Home, Office, and writing strongly implies no.
