New laptop

Wife is needing a new laptop for collage acounting. I have bought her two and both seem to bog down and run so slow after a short time of use. what would you recomend for a fast reliable laptop

If you uninstall all the shareware the laptops have when you buy them, almost any laptop should work just fine.

looking at around 1000. I have purchased a hp which service was non excistent. Then a toshiba which in short order became so slow that opening a program nearly meant go to town check when ya get back.

I looked through a few dozen laptops and this one stood out to me as the best combination of price, performance and features. And ASUS usually aren't as loaded with bloatware as other brands.
