Hello Community,

I have been thinking about getting a new laptop since I recently had mine stolen. I have been looking at getting the ASUS G751JY. But I have never really even considered a Micro ATX build. After thinking about it I am liking the sound of a smaller tower. It looks like you can upgrade things as it get older and getting a little bit stronger computer. Would I be able to get enough power to play GTA 5 and video record with a Micro ATX? Any suggestions for a build that would be capable of that? My budget is roughly about $1500.00. I do not need a SSD drive but I will need a bigger HD for raw video footage. Any suggestions to a build at that price range for a gaming Micro ATX? Sorry still new to Micro ATX so I'm not sure if I need to watch out for certain things.

Any I formation would be helpful and appreciated.

Thanks a bunch community :)

micro atx is a small atx and it has less storage ports or something, if you want to go ahead and make that HDD 2TB if you don't need 3TB, and edit some other stuff and upgrade that mobo to a Asus Maximus VII Gene

Hi TheNewGeek420,

Thanks for the quick reply for whatever reason my phone would not allow me to reply to your answer. I have looked at your build and it seems really good. My only question is if I could switch the case to a Rosewill LINE-M - Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case. Will the Cryorig H7 be affected in this case with the amount of space given? Would you know by chance?

Here's the link to the case:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147166&cm_re=rosewill_m_line-_-11-147-166-_-Product

Other then that I like everything else.

Thanks again TheNewGeek420! 😀

sorry for not replying earlier, i broke my arm. I could not find the cpu cooler capacity of this case. i read that this case does support full size coolers, but im thinking its a tight fit. i looked it up on google images and the cryorig h7 fits that case.

TL;DR:
just make sure to have some air in the case, and you should be fine.

Hi TheNewGeek420,

No worries man sorry to hear about your arm. Thanks for all of your help! Please take care of yourself. Have an awesome day!
