I am just wondering, when I install my new motherboard what do I do about driver and when do install or uninstall them? It is the same manufacturer board but in a different format atx - matx, any help would greatly appreciated. Thanks

Solution
if you just built a pc you can either install the drivers from th cd provided after installing windows or downloading the latest from the motherboard manufacture.
if you are replacing the motherboard you will need to reinstall windows if the motherboard is not exactly the same.
in youre case you say that you are swapping from atx to matx if i understood corectly.
in this case you can first test if it works.but best of is to do a clean install.

Changing mobo generally means reinstalling the operating system, except of the drivers there is a tons of internal configuration of the OS for that specified part. Probably only swapping for the same mobo, same revision, etc wouldn't require that job.
