New MOBO, Intel LAN or Realtek LAN for wired Internet?

I just finished my first gaming PC build and the MOBO I used is the ASUS SABERTOOTH Z97 mark 1 (which I love and am very happy with my choice), this is my first MOBO with multiple LAN options and I'm not entirely sure what the difference is or which I would benefit from the most, or if it even matters.

I am using the Intel one right now.

I am using the Intel one right now.

Intel is a high quality brand and since you already use it, I assume that you know the basics to it the LAN settings. I would go for the Intel LAN.

I forgot to mention I use a wired connection from my router and not wireless, I have it plugged into the Intel lan plug right now and haven't tried realtek.

To be honest, there really isn't a big difference between the two. I would go with the Intel since it's already connected; I really wouldn't go through all the hassle of rewiring and setting up something that will barely or not improve your performance at all.
