I recently finished building a pc and I greeted by 5 short beep codes. After a bit of research I found out it has to do with either the cpu or th socket but I can’t figure out which. I checked the cpu there didn’t appear to be any bent pins granted the thermal paste a little messy if that has to do with anything. The socket looked fine and yes I did place the cpu with the gold triangle pointing in the correct spot. Is there any way I could check if it was the motherboard because all other components connected to it seem to working fine. The mobo is an asrock ab350 pro4 with the cpu being a ryzen 1600.

The complete specs are the mobo the cpu with a 500gb 850 evo Samsung ssd, evga nex 650w gold psu, 16gb ddr4 3200 Corsair vengeance lpx Ram, inside of a rose will cullinan case. There is not video card as of right now. Although none of these parts are connected to the mobo other than the stock cooler and ram. No keyboard connected either when I heard the beeps. I connected a keyboard when the mobo didn’t have a speaker but the keyboard still lit up.

The 5 beeps occurs during the DXE boot phase of the AMI UEFI BIOS boot process. It means that "No Console Input or Output Devices are found". Try installing a discrete graphics card to see if the 5 beeps goes away.

DXE (Driver Execution Environment – main hardware initialization)
