Hi, so for the last week or so our old modem would get a bunch of logs daily and i'd notice terrible lag and disconnecting in games and big time in mmo games. Since our modem and router were getting old we went to pick up brand new arris sb6190 modem and netgear n900 dual wifi. Things seemed perfect for a day or two after trying it all out and my speed tests would come out around 20-25ping, 110-125mbps down, 20-25mbps up. now just recently today it felt like things were being slow and after doing a new speed test a bit ago our ping was around 30-35, 5-10mbps down, 0-1mbps up.

I decided to do a reboot/reset on modem and router to see if that'd do anything and luckly it did go back to ping 20-25 with 120-125mbps down but now upload is staying around 1-2mbps max.. The modem doesn't have any event logs (other then from hard reset).. does this sound like it's an issue with my provider at this point since everything hardware wise is brand new? I'll post what info i have below, if there's anything else needed i'm willing to post it and thank you!

Provider: comcast

update: There is a event log that showed up linked above, seems to have happened shortly after rebooting everything (after i manually cleared the logs that showed just the rebooting logs). If I do get someone from comcast to come out and check things, what should I tell them exactly to hopefully have everything fixed in one visit?

update 2: New logs starting to pop up not sure what's happening?.. these are starting to look like the same event logs I was having before replacing our old modem/router..

Solution
t3/t4 timeout is a connection issue the modem is having with the internet provider.

Could be modem, could be filters/splitters inline, could need an autenuator, could be a bad coax end, could be something further upstream (comcast's equipment).

Tech will have to look at it,

since we are talking comcast here, only other thing I can say is good luck.

Update: the modem event logs show that earlier today it had another no ranging response received error as shown above on update 2.. along with that I was curious before calling out a comcast tech to check our outside box/cables/splitters/etc. I followed our coax line and didn't know it till now.. but our main line goes into a 4 output splitter where 3 of those outputs go to our tv boxes I'd assume? then the 4th one leads to another splitter.. this one has 2 outputs with 2 cables leading to other tv boxes in our house or one of these over all cables is our main internet line.

We're canceling our tv service with comcast already so if I have a tech come out and replace or check things, I'm assuming I should tell them they can remove all the splitters and extra coax cables we won't need anymore.. and just let the main coax cable lead straight to our modem? Assuming having those splitters and extra cables seem to be part of the issue?
