[SOLVED] New monitor for build question

Hey.

I am looking for a new monitor for my first pcbuild.
It has been quite difficult for me to pick one as all local electronic stores do not turn on their display monitors due to the COVID situation.
Meaning I have not had any opportunity to look at any monitors in action myself.

My setup will be Using Intel i9 10th Gen and GeForce ti 2080 super.

The monitor can cost Arround 600$ max.
I am Unsure about how important the reponstime is. I would be playing fighting games, Fps and strategy games.
I would prefer 1440p resolution. The resolution is picked due to screen size and I fear 1080p would be too low.
Gsync would be preferable.
Prefer at least 27" screen
Not sure which panel time is the best to pick for gaming. I was thinking that IPS would be the best in regards to response time and image quality. But all of the "best" lists was a VA monitor.

What would you say to the below? Are they good?
Are there other things I should consider.

Both of those are nice but have you considered going 21:9? While I'm not too familiar with Nixeus monitors this one looks really good for the price and would pair well with your specs. The only thing you'd want to make sure is that your games support 21:9 (usually a quite Google search). The immersion on ultra wide monitors is much better then 16:9 and with this model you still get the high refresh rate and good response time.

The only thing I am worried about is the large resolution and if my setup can handle it for demanding games.

Well it's less then 4K and if your going with a 10th gen i9 and a 2080S (or ti) I doubt you'll have issues running newer games on higher settings at 3440x1440.

The above benchmarks are on the highest settings so you can adjust the graphics slightly if you wanted to increase the FPS.

Good point with the link. I will look further into your suggested monitor. I need to investigate the size against my desk. Do you have other monitor suggestions so I have some to compare with?

That's really the only Ultrawide that would fit your needs and budget so you can't really compare others that are above it in pricing but the Dell you listed above is a good monitor.
