Its getting hard to read stuff on the screen without putting on reading glasses and want to keep full pages loaded
Also just ordered parts for an upgrade so thinking about upgrading the monitor as well. I have a 24" but thinking about getting a 27" or 32". Never saw a curved one before so drove 45 min to town and best buy only had 27" monitors on display Wal mart at least had a 32" flat screen but it was not plugged in and had the 27" monitors bolted down in front of it
I really wanted to see a 32" curve but no luck so reaching out for some opinions.
Is it even worth considering a 27"
Just being able to read without glasses I don't think flat or curved will matter much
but I also will be doing some gaming so is a curve a lot better
Will be used for gaming mainly FPS

I have a EVGA 1070 FTW2 (plan on upgrading in a couple of years)
AMD 5 5600 and 16 gb of 3600 ddr4 ram on the way
32" is the largest monitor I can stuff into my computer hutch

I have dual 32" 1440p monitors. I'm over 60. I would never go back to 1080p, that's so antique now. I would never go smaller than 32".
Personally I hate curved monitors and think they are all hype. That's my opinion. Some people swear by them. My son has two of them. I found the angle I was viewing them changed the clarity and my ability to see what was on the screen. I don't have that issue with flat screeens.
I would upgrade to 4K 32" but A$2000 for a monitor is unaffordable.
What I struggle with is all this dark mode stuff. White on black is all but invisible to me, but everything is jumping on the dark mode bandwagon ... or should I say dark side :)
