I've been wanting to get a new 144hz monitor lately but im not sure if my system can run it these are my specs:
1050ti
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. H110M-S2H-CF motherboard
intel i5-7400 CPU 3.00GHz, 3001 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
220v power supply (I know its trash)
16G of ram
windows 10
1tb of memory and no ssd
2 60hz monitors and looking to replace one of them

you think i can handle a 144hz monitor and still run everything at 144 and if not what should i swap out

Solution
The 1050Ti is not really up to the task of providing those sorts of framerates except for at low resolution and low texture quality, and probably on older games, and the 7400, being a quad core/quad thread design, is beginning to show it's limitations in the newest gaming titles such as BF1 and BF5...

(I'd hold off on a 144 Hz refresh monitor for gaming until sporting a GTX1070/2060 or above, and an i7-9700K or above; if those purhcase were not coming for a few months, you can wait for July's new RYzen 3000 release, and see what performance the new processors bring to the table...)
