New monitory for new build

Hello everyone, first post ever on here!

After several weeks of researching on this site and YouTube, I have built my first ever gaming computer!

i5-8400, GTX 1060 6GB, 16 RAM, 250SSD+1TB.

My question is regarding a monitor. As of right now, I currently have an Asus gaming monitor of 60hz, 1ms that I used with my xboxone. I was considering moving up to a 144hz monitor but budget is a little tight as I just built the computer.

Is there a drastic difference in quality and visuals between the monitors or can I survive with a 60hz monitor for a bit with my specs or will a 144hz really enhance the experience? Or does anyone know a monitor sub $200 that I can dig into?

I'm mostly looking to play BF1, R6S, Ironsight, open world games like FC5. As well as BFV when it does come out!

1070 is kind of needed if you want to run ultra and 100+fps.

Appreciate it, will try and find some then. And that's not a problem for me. I'm mostly looking to play 1080p at medium-high settings to get the best performance.
