New motherboard – computer will not start

I have just purchased this new motherboard. I soon changed it out from my old one. Now my computer will not start up when I press the power button. As you can see the light is on. it's not my power supply. I was just using it yesterday with my old motherboard. I don't know what to do, please help. The board is an M5A97 LE R2.0 from asus.

Double check you have the power button plugged into the right spot and that the + and - are in the right place.

If it is and still doesn't turn on, unplug it and try using the tip of a screwdriver to jump out those 2 pins, maybe your power button broke.

As far as im aware they are plugged in correctly.

The slot that looks not seated doesn't have a DIMM module in it. Only the blue ones do and they are seated.

just got it to work. cpu cord facing the wrong way.

The 4/8 pin cord or the power button as I suggested?
