New Motherboard and CPU, and Windows will no longer boot.

I have installed the cpu ( AMD fx 6300 black edition ) and mobo ( Asus M5a78l-m/usb3 ). I plugged everything into the right slots ( i believe ) and the Motherboard menu will pop up... the options for boot menu and what not are available. When i choose my main HDD to boot up, it will not start, the mobo has a green light on and no beeps are made, i really dont know what the problem is Please help ASAP!

You guys are skipping ahead a little.

First, for switching the CPU this is not needed, but you switched the motherboards so you might need to do this. However, you should at least get Windows attempting to boot and then failing to do so. Are you seeing that happen? If not there could be another issue happening.

If you are seeing anything of Windows attempting to start however, then yes you need to install Windows again.

you can use https://rufus.akeo.ie/ in order to make a bootable USB and install your windows from bios !.
