I bought an asus z390e recently and after taking out my old mobo (msi h110M Gaming) and plugging everything in, the PC will only turn on for less than a second. Ive triple checked my power connections, they all seem correct, my only concern would be that my psu doesnt have an 8 pin connector so I could only use the 4 pin instead, which I read was fine, it just wouldn't input as much power to the cpu.
After reading around ive come to the point were my PC will turn on for around 4 seconds with the cpu latch off, but when I latch it back down, it only turns on for less than a second. The only things I have plugged in are a single stick of ddr4 8gb ram (I have tried using two different sticks), my cpu, the cpu fan, and the power switch (I have already tried just shorting the power switch so I know thats not the issue). I don't have my aio connected as Ive been fiddling with the cpu.
