My OEM R9 360 GPU went bad and I am looking to replace it. I just bought BF1 which is a pretty demanding game and I'm afraid that if I purchase a decent card like a Geforce GTX 1050 ti 4g which the game needs that my machine will bottleneck. At this point I'm looking to buy a barebones case so I can transfer all the components or just replace the motherboard/cpu combo and add the card as well. Btw, my processor is an AMD FX 770k quad core.

Cool. Thanks. I just bought an MSI Radeon RX 560 4g off Amazon with factory overclock. I also got some acrylic glass and am making a custom side panel for my case and installing a 120 mm fan on it to help with cooling. Someone yesterday said a liquid cooled fan for the cpu would be a good upgrade but I don't wanna spend the extra money. Luckily my machine already has a 450w power supply that was there for the R9 gpu and it's also recommended for my new card. I have one fan slot left on the motherboard so it all works out. Thanks again!

Probably not. The CPU will probably hit 100% usage while playing BF1.

A case (assuming it's standard) is just a box. If it has good airflow and parts fit inside, then there is no reason to replace it (aside from aesthetic considerations). Now about the parts inside. Big companies are all about saving $1. Your power supply probably gives you almost no headroom for upgrades. Your motherboard probably has it's own limitations. The CPU is getting a bit long in the tooth (released 4 years ago). And a GPU with less than 4GB VRAM is a crutch with modern titles.

I don't know what your budget is. If it is limited I would go incremental. Part of me would get a new GPU and PSU now and look for RAM, MB, and CPU later. Then again, new GPUs are coming out soon and prices will be in flux. Then again, your GPU is dead so you need something. Then again, why did you GPU die ... heat issues? If so, that is the first thing to fix. Clearly a lot to consider.

I checked The Bottlenecker and it looks like the RX 560 would only give me 2% bottleneck which is good. Do you think I can buy the higher end 4gb card or should I purchase the 2gb? Also, once I'm ready to upgrade the CPU what should I look for? I think the socket is FM2+ which leaves my options limited.

I would go with the 4GB at a minimum. Having some bottlenecking now is not a big deal if you plan to upgrade your CPU later.

Which CPU depends on your budget. I would not bother with a different FX processor. The new Ryzen and Intel CPUs are great, but that means new motherboard and memory also. $400 would get you started.

Right now I have 8 gigs of DDR3 memory... They're split into 2 pieces so each stick is 4g and I have 4 slots total. If I fill in the empty slots making 16 gigs of memory would this help with bottlenecking?

No, bottlenecking occurs when one piece of hardware has to wait for another piece of hardware to finish processing data. More RAM is not going to make your CPU faster.
