[SOLVED] new mouse cannot move but can click

hi!
i have a hp pavilion hpe with a i7 2600 and a gtx 550 ti and i just got a new mouse( pictek t16) and it worked pretty well with just a few hiccups for the first two days but then on the third day it pretty much totally stopped... i have uninstalled drivers, set bios to default, tried a different hardrive to boot from(also on windows 10) and cannot figure out why it is not working... it kinda charges up in a weird way(i can leave it for a day and then it will for for about 10 seconds). i can click just fine with all buttons.
i installed the drivers off of the cd that came with the mouse... not sure if that is the problem or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated! thank you!

p.s i have another mobo that maybe would work with the computer i have.... i would have to reinstall everything and would lose windows 10 but if it makes the mouse work ill do it.

i used it with a different pc... but i had downloaded the mouse driver that came with it on that computer to....

today i will try to use it on a old laptop that i have if i can find the charger... i am just worried that if i get a different mouse it will have the same problem.

also... question for you guys, if the mouse works on a different computer what do i do then?

You update your Windows and mobos chipset drivers.If it still happens theres something wrong with your usb ports.
