MSI is okay,but not the best 😉 . If I was not so concerned with my eye health 😉 ,I'd buy one of these :??: . Nvidia,Intel,etc what more do you want :) . Even though I like to make my own computers,I think this looks like the best gaming laptop on the market today. :sol:
 

Hi AMD X6850. :hello: Hey not even close to being really expensive :lol: . It maybe that your just an AMD junkie :lol: (cheap stuff your into). Your so right about this having nice specifications though. :sol:

I agree. I more like MSI for main board stuff. The Laptops are nice but kind of Meh for me.
 
Would not pay so much money on something that looks so tacky. You have to be a teenager to think these look cool. I would be embarrassed to be seen with something like this.
 
It's more about the power than the look. If you want a much slower system but a refrigerator look, get an apple macbook pro for $500-1000 more. :)

If I had the extra money to spend after a awesome desktop, I would buy this. Some people travel a lot for work and pleasure, where they may not be near their desktop for quite sometime. As the gaming generation gets older, I could easily see a CEO or some high up management, That travels all over the world, Using something like this to get a few quick rounds of an FPS or sports game.

Actually, the top model costs that much. The lower specced models can be much lower. A friend of mine already owns one of these. This news is also a tad late, as these notebooks have already been available for at least 2 weeks.

If it's more about the power you can configure your own laptop for less $$$ on an online pc specialist shop. This just looks tacky and stupid.

dude, you could build a desktop with somewhat better specs for 2/3 the cash, and thats an intel, so you like to pay 500$+ for a name and a laptop? right now i have a 300$ laptop, kinda wishing i had just gotten a desktop for the same amount cuz i dont game on the go, even if i could. i like intel but that is wayy too much for that computer, just my opinion though.

You'd be surprised. I can get 2-2.5 hours of battery life out of my ASUS G73SW laptop (it has Core i7 2630QM and GeForce GTX 460M) for non-gaming productivity use. And my use does tax the CPU occasionally - I compile source code on it and that fires the CPU to above 100% (via Intel's auto-overclocking). It has an 8-cell battery.
Ah, and due to excellent heat dissipation design, it never gets hot either (even for heavy gaming use, though then the battery life is not great of course).
 
Yeah, you want a crazy notebook, look at a Sager/Clevo. Clevo used to be the supplier for most of the high-performance barebones laptop chassis for Alienware and VoodooPC before they were bought by Dell and HP, respectively. XoticPC has Sager notebooks, but you can get them directly from Sager as well. Put a desktop i7 990X in a notebook with dual HD 6990M's in Crossfire, and tell me that isn't just absolutely ridiculous, because Sager makes such a configuration. It's an out-and-out luggable desktop, with potential power demands so high that they offer a secondary power adapter as an option. Yes, you may need to use two at once to feed this beast under load.

That said, I don't necessarily think the Mac bashing is necessary here; it's no use arguing since everyone's mind is made up anyway and nothing that can be said here would change that. Everybody has their reasons, and if they feel their opinions are at all justified, let them spend their money how they want to. Mac and PC supporters will continue groveling at their respective pantheons no matter what you tell them, so it's a moot point to go on bashing Macs, even if this were an article about Macs to begin with (which it isn't, so seriously, give it up).
