Question New pair of rams 1 long 2 short beeps no boot Black screen

Hello i have an old computer i wanted to change the ram because it wasnt enough..

My old pair :

My specs

cpu : Q9650
mobo : P5G41C-M LX ASUS 4GB+4GB

With my old pair of rams it works fine. But whenever i put the new ones it beeps 1 long 2 short. I searched internet but couldn't find any solution.. I need your help thanks.

Are you aware of the info below from the motherboard manufacturer's specs sheet?:

Asus P5G41C-M LX

2 x DIMM, Max. 8 GB, DDR3 1333(O.C.)/1066/800 Non-ECC,Un-buffered memory

2 x DIMM, max. 8 GB,DDR2 1066 (O.C.) / 800 / 667 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered memory

Dual Channel memory architecture

NOTE: DDR3 and DDR2 memory can not be used simultaneously

Use DDR3 memory modules on the black slots and DDR2 memory modules on the blue slots."

Have you installed the RAM in accordance with the above?

hi, your new ram works only at 1600mhz, it doesnt have 1333mhz or lower options, which means its not compatible with your mainboard
your mainboard can support 800/1066MHZ ram which can be overclocked up to 1333mhz

Your board requires low density DDR3, very few vendors carry the low density ram anymore. Cant read the numbers on your new memory. You new memory is probably high density and not compatible.
