Hi all,

I want to ask for your help with my new PC build.

I would use it mainly for Gaming but for hobby side PS and video editing, but really mainly gaming.

(gaming side anything from FPS to RTS new-retro etc.)

My budget is around 1500 USD/1400 EUR

This is my idea for the build:

Case: Be quiet! Pure Base 500DX (I want to avoid strong RGB cases, simple is better)
Motherboard: ASRock B550M Pro4
CPU: Intel Core i5-13600K
CPU Cooler: Be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4
Memory: Kingston FURY Beast DIMM 2x16GB 3200MHz DDR4 (later I could/would double it with another 2x16)
SSD: SSD M.2 SAMSUNG 970 Evo Plus 2TB
HDD: Seagate HDD 3.5" 2TB
GPU: MSI RTX 3060 Gaming X 12G 12GB GDDR6 (few years later a better GPU maybe)
Power S.: Be Quiet! 1000W - PURE POWER 12 M (or a 850W? but for price side it's not much difference and for future upgrade the 1000W is better i think)

Thank you in advance for the answers!

Hello,

Nice parts list... except you have an AMD chipset motherboard with an Intel processor. The i5-13600K will require a B760 or Z790 chipset motherboard and DDR5 RAM.

DDR5 jumps the price up. If you want to stick with DDR4, you could go with an AMD processor such as the Ryzen 7 5700X instead of the i5-13600K. That could save you $100 right there.

An easy way to guide your parts picking is to use https://pcpartpicker.com/list/. It alerts you when you have incompatible parts picked out.

Cheers!

I would choose a board with better VRM's for that cpu and 1000W is way overkill. What country are you located and what is your resolution?
